• Overnight boarding with supervised care

What makes it different from a typical daycare?

The kennel describes many daycares as little more than supervised waiting rooms and sets out to do the opposite. Groups stay small so handlers can learn each dog's habits and play style. The stated goal is a dog that comes home tired, calmer, and better behaved.

Inside, the space is noise-controlled to keep the mood calm. Outside, a secure yard gives dogs room to run and play freely. Owners receive a daily report card with photos and videos, which helps anyone nervous about a first stay.

What credentials does the facility hold?

Waggy World is a Maryland-licensed facility and an IBPSA member for 2026. It also lists APDT membership, Canine First Aid & CPR certification, a Professional Pet Boarding Certification, and a Managing Safe Group Play Certification. Local residents named it a Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave in 2023.

How do new clients get started?

Booking is done by phone at (301) 861-2187. New clients start with a free meet and greet, which gives staff a chance to see how a dog fits into the playgroups. The facility sits in Waldorf, in Charles County, Maryland.
