Come Sit & Stay

Come Sit & Stay is a dog boarding and daycare kennel at 7320 Hinton Mill Road in Ostrander, Ohio, with grooming and training offered on the same property. Overnight stays run $45 to $55 per night, according to the kennel's website. Dogs of every size are accepted, from small breeds up to giants.

What services does Come Sit & Stay offer?

The kennel's main services are overnight boarding and daytime daycare. Grooming and obedience work are also available, so a dog can get a bath or some training during a longer stay.

• Overnight boarding in private kennels and suites
• Dog daycare with indoor and outdoor play areas
• Temperament-matched play groups, plus one-on-one play sessions
• Grooming and obedience enrichment
• Medication administration and special diets

How do owners keep tabs on their dog?

Owners get daily photo updates through the kennel's parent app, along with a daily report card. That helps when a dog is boarding for the first time and the owner wants to see how they're settling in. The facility also has overnight security monitoring.

Is it a good fit for dogs with different needs?

Play groups are matched by temperament, so a calm dog isn't stuck with a pack of rowdy ones. Dogs that would rather skip group play can get one-on-one sessions instead. Staff can give medications and handle special diets, which matters for dogs with health issues or food sensitivities.

What should owners know before booking?

All dogs must be current on their vaccinations. Bookings are made by phone at (614) 581-8150, and the kennel also takes email at csskennel@gmail.com. The Come Sit & Stay website, comesitandstay.com, has more detail on each service and is a good place to check before calling.
