Hayden Run Animal Lodge

Hayden Run Animal Lodge is a dog boarding facility at 7187 Hayden Run Road in Hilliard, Ohio, offering private suites on an 11-acre natural campus. Dogs stay in their own indoor and outdoor suites or bungalows. Play happens one-on-one with staff rather than in mixed groups.

What sets this lodge apart?

The biggest difference is the no-group-mixing approach. Each dog gets individual play sessions, which may suit dogs who find a busy group playroom overwhelming. The campus includes meadows and fields, giving the place a quieter, nature-focused feel than a typical kennel.

The care team is HEART certified (Human-Animal Enrichment through Responsible Training). A Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) is on staff, and the team holds Pet First Aid and CPR certification.

What's included with a stay?

• Private indoor and outdoor suites and bungalows with climate control
• One-on-one play sessions with staff
• Daily health and wellness monitoring
• Complimentary Kuranda Cots and Orthomats bedding
• A go-home bath, with grooming also offered

Can it handle medications and special diets?

Yes. The lodge lists medication administration and special diets among its services. Having an RVT on staff adds medical know-how for dogs with ongoing health needs, which owners of seniors or dogs on daily medication may find reassuring.
