Happy Tails Dog Boarding and Daycare

Happy Tails Dog Boarding and Daycare is a family-owned farm kennel at 662 State Route 257 S. in Ostrander, Ohio, offering overnight dog boarding and dog daycare. The property covers 15 acres, so dogs have plenty of room to spend time outside. The kennel describes its approach as a farm getaway, with a focus on outdoor play, walks, and one-on-one attention.

What is the kennel like?

Dogs stay in a heated and air-conditioned kennel building that runs 105 feet long. It holds 37 spacious indoor/outdoor runs, and six of them are extra-large. Each dog's run opens onto a private outdoor area with pea gravel, which is gentle on paws and easy to keep clean.

For social dogs, there are seven secure outdoor play areas. Group play happens in small groups. The kennel says it watches for comfort and compatibility instead of putting every dog in together.

What services does Happy Tails offer?

• Overnight boarding in standard or extra-large indoor/outdoor runs
• Dog daycare with small-group play and socialization
• Wellness packages with walks, ball time, puzzle toys, and snuggle time
• Pampered pet baths and nail trims
• Medication administration for dogs that need it

The wellness packages are optional add-ons. They give boarded dogs extra exercise, mental work, and personal attention during a longer stay.
