Cedar Bend Kennels & Grooming

Cedar Bend Kennels & Grooming is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 312 Widow Newman Lane in Knoxville, Tennessee. It sits on six wooded acres with play yards outside and a climate-controlled building inside. Overnight stays run from $30 to $36 per night, based on pricing published on the kennel's website.

What do dogs get during a stay?

Boarding guests stay in one of two private suite styles. Indoor/outdoor suites suit dogs who like spending time outside, while indoor-only suites fit dogs who would rather stay in. Staff provide care on site around the clock, and each evening ends with a tuck-in service that includes treats.

• Indoor/outdoor and indoor-only private suites
• Play yards on six wooded acres, plus indoor play space
• Doggie Day Camp for daytime care
• Grooming, including go-home baths before pickup
• Medication administration during stays

What is the setting like?

The wooded property gives dogs room to run and play. The kennel describes itself as a secure, private spot where the focus is on customized care, comfort, and kindness. Its tone is warm and personal, with an emphasis on helping dogs feel close to at home while their owners are away.

Cedar Bend accepts dogs of every size, from small breeds up to giant ones. Owners boarding more than one dog, or planning a longer trip, can ask about multi-dog and long-stay discounts.

How does booking work?

Reservations are made online through the kennel's website. Vaccinations are required before a stay, so it helps to have records ready ahead of time. Owners who want to see the suites and yards first can take a facility tour. Questions can also go to the kennel by phone at 865.933.6222.
