Happy Yap Doggie Day Camp

Happy Yap Doggie Day Camp is a dog daycare in Knoxville, TN, offering all-day supervised group play and overnight boarding at 2810 Davenport Road. It sits less than 2 miles from downtown Knoxville, which makes it a practical drop-off for owners who work in or near the city center.

What does a day at camp look like?

The heart of Happy Yap is group play. Dogs spend the day together under supervision, and the camp's own photos and captions focus on running, tug games, and the occasional cuddle break. The tone is playful and a little goofy, with the people there joking that they spend the day trying to keep up with the dogs.

For owners, the appeal is easy to see. A dog that plays with other dogs all day usually comes home tired, and a tired dog tends to make for a calmer evening at home.

What services does Happy Yap offer?

• All-day supervised group play (daycare)
• Overnight boarding
• Multi-dog discounts for households with more than one dog
• Enrollment through an application with a pet profile

Can dogs stay overnight?

Yes. Along with daycare, Happy Yap Doggie Day Camp boards dogs overnight. A dog that already knows the camp from daytime visits can stay somewhere familiar when the family travels, which is often an easier transition than a brand-new kennel.

How do owners get started?

New dogs join through an enrollment application that includes a pet profile. The camp presents this as a chance to learn what each dog enjoys and needs, so it helps to come ready to describe your dog's habits and personality.
