Win-Star Bed and Biscuit

Win-Star Bed and Biscuit offers dog boarding and daycare at 3602 112th Street East in Tacoma, Washington. It also boards cats in a separate two-level area kept just for them. The facility puts its focus on outdoor space and personal attention, and staff time is part of each stay.

What is a stay at Win-Star like?

Dogs stay in large indoor/outdoor runs. The outdoor sections are covered against bad weather. The building is climate controlled, and the runs and resting areas are cleaned and sanitized three times a day. For exercise, staff walk dogs on leash around a 3.5-acre park. There are also two securely fenced K-9 grass areas for off-leash play.

• Overnight boarding and dog daycare
• One-on-one playtime and cuddle time with staff
• Indoor play space plus outdoor grounds
• Grooming services
• Special diets and medication given on schedule

Does it suit small, older, or anxious dogs?

Win-Star takes both small and large dogs. Smaller dogs have their own relief area, away from the bigger guests. The kennel also offers help for disabled and elderly pets and extra TLC for pets who get homesick. Owners whose dogs need a special diet or daily medication can arrange both for the stay.

What does it cost, and how do you book?

The kennel's website lists nightly rates from $35 to $57. Bookings are taken by phone at 253-531-0779. Current vaccinations are required before any pet can board.

When is the office open?

The office is open 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday. Sunday hours are short, running only from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
