Wandering Woof

Wandering Woof is a farm-style dog boarding and daycare facility at 13305 Vickery Ave E in Tacoma, WA. Dogs stay in custom, handmade suites and kennels and spend their days in supervised playgroups on a 3.3-acre farm. It's a good fit for owners who want dog boarding in Tacoma with plenty of open space and active play.

What services does Wandering Woof offer?

The farm offers overnight boarding, doggy daycare, and grooming add-ons. Days follow a set rhythm. Group play is balanced with scheduled rest time, so dogs don't get overstimulated.

• Overnight boarding in private suites or handmade kennels
• Supervised group playgroups and daycare
• A large covered play barn for all-weather play
• A spacious outdoor play yard
• Spa exit baths and add-on nail trims

What makes this farm different?

Space is the main draw. The covered play barn lets play continue through rain, and the outdoor yard gives dogs room to run, sniff, and explore. The kennel describes its setting as peaceful and rustic, a place where dogs are allowed to be dogs, even if that means muddy paws.

That's where the exit bath comes in. Before pickup, a dog can get a bath, blow dry, brush-out, and ear cleaning, with a nail trim available as an add-on.
