The Shaggy Dog Inc.

The Shaggy Dog Inc. offers dog boarding in Dallas, Oregon, along with dog daycare, cat boarding, and grooming at its five-acre facility on Clow Corner Road. All boarding is indoors, with climate control and private suites. Dogs still get daily time outside in grassy yards.

What boarding options are there for dogs?

Dogs stay under one of two packages, Regular or Pampered. Both include daily outdoor exercise and off-leash play in the grassy yards. Pampered is the more involved option, and owners can call to ask which one suits their dog's energy level and routine.

Daycare is also available for dogs that only need a place to spend the day. The facility has indoor play space as well as outdoor areas, so weather doesn't have to cancel play.

What sets The Shaggy Dog apart?

The focus is on individual care. Staff build customized care plans and look after senior and geriatric pets. That matters for owners of older dogs who need a slower pace or closer attention. Staff can also give medication and work with special diets.

Cats get their own space. A separate, quiet cattery keeps them away from the dogs, and each cat stays in a spacious private condo.
