Sea Dogz

Sea Dogz is a dog boarding, daycare and training center at 840 24th Street in Ogden, Utah, built around an indoor swimming pool and aquatic center. Owners looking for dog boarding in Ogden will find small group overnight stays here, along with daycare and a full slate of water and fitness programs.

What does Sea Dogz offer?

The facility calls itself a dock diving, aquatic and training center, and its service list backs that up. Boarding and daycare sit alongside a set of water and fitness activities.

• Small group overnight boarding
• Dog daycare
• Indoor pool with private and group swim lessons
• Dock diving lessons and practice
• AKC Fit Dog fitness classes and slat mill (dog treadmill) rentals

What makes it different?

The pool is the centerpiece. Sea Dogz says it works with puppies and dogs still gaining confidence in the water, as well as dogs ready to start dock diving or sharpen their skills. Outside the pool, the training side covers urban hunt practice and fitness work. Qualifying dogs can also join off-site adventure outings.

Small groups are a big part of the pitch. The kennel says this lets staff spend quality time with each dog, whether that dog is swimming, training or socializing during its stay.

Practical details

Overnight boarding runs $40 to $50 per night, according to the kennel's website. Vaccinations are required for boarding guests. Reservations are made online, and the phone number is 801-513-3209 for questions before booking.
