Harrisville Working Dogs

Harrisville Working Dogs is a training-focused kennel at 855 N Harrisville Rd that offers overnight dog boarding in Harrisville, Utah. It accepts dogs of all types and personalities, including dogs with aggression issues.

What services does Harrisville Working Dogs offer?

Boarding is one part of a business built around dog training. Obedience training, behavior modification, board-and-train programs and working dog training sit alongside regular kennel stays. Owners who want their dog to keep learning while they travel will find that option here, and a standard overnight stay is available too.

• Overnight boarding for all dog types and personalities
• Boarding for dogs with aggression issues (additional fee)
• Obedience training and behavior modification
• Board-and-train programs
• Outdoor space, with a dog water pond and dock coming soon

What sets it apart from a typical kennel?

The biggest difference is who they take. Mild-mannered dogs and dogs with aggression issues can both board here, with an extra fee for the second group. The kennel describes a stay as a chance to care for, train and build up a dog while the owner is away, so the approach leans more toward structure than simple pet sitting.

A dog water pond with a dock is also in the works. Once it opens, boarding and training dogs should be able to add water activities to their routine.

Hours, prices and booking

The facility is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to noon. It is closed on Sundays. Published boarding rates run from $39 to $69 per night.
