Hoku K9 Training

Hoku K9 Training is a training-focused dog boarding business in North Ogden, Utah. It offers behavioral rehabilitation and in-home boarding for dogs that have finished its training. It suits owners who want time away from home to build on a dog's obedience rather than pause it.

What does Hoku K9 Training offer?

Training comes first here. The 4+ week behavioral rehabilitation program is for dogs that need more than basic manners. The trainers describe their goal as a calmer dog that listens to its owner in any situation. Boarding is handled through a board & play program for dogs that have completed training.

• 4+ week behavioral rehabilitation program
• Board & play boarding for program graduates
• Structured play, pack hikes, and lake outings
• Free lifetime refreshers for graduates
• Free consultations and flexible payment plans

How is boarding different here?

Board & play is not open to every dog. Only dogs that have completed a Hoku K9 Training program can book it, so the routine during a stay keeps their training on track. Days are built around structured play, pack hikes, and lake outings. The site presents this as a way to keep dogs from sliding back into old habits while their owners travel.

What does it cost?

Board & play costs $45 per day. Consultations are free, and the business offers flexible payment plans. Graduates also get free lifetime refreshers, which helps owners keep up with what their dog learned.
