Remington Pet Ranch

Remington Pet Ranch is a veterinarian-owned pet resort at 14025 S Turnersville Rd in Buda, TX, offering overnight boarding, daycare, grooming, and training. For owners searching for dog boarding in Buda or South Austin, its main draws are private suites, lots of outdoor room, and care for pets with medical needs. Cats board here too.

What does an overnight stay include?

Dogs stay in private, climate-controlled suites with raised and orthopedic bedding. Classical music plays in the lodging areas to keep things calm. Owners get a daily report card with a photo, and staff can give medications during the stay. Published boarding rates run from $45 to $75 per night, depending on the option.

• Over 45,000 sq ft of fenced outdoor play yards, plus indoor play space
• 35 acres of rolling pasture for nature hikes
• Two natural swimming ponds and splash pools
• Daycare and grooming on the same property
• Cat suites with a window perch, climbing tree, and screened catio

Can it handle a dog with medical needs?

This is one of the ranch's specialties. Medical boarding covers diabetic, post-op, and special-needs pets, and the business is veterinarian-owned. Owners with a specific condition in mind can call (512) 717-6797 to talk through their pet's care before booking.

Who runs the training?

Training is led by CPDT-KA certified trainers, and the ranch has a CGC Evaluator on staff. The site describes its approach as positive reinforcement, with guidance tailored to each dog. That makes it a reasonable fit for owners who want training and boarding in one place.
