Pups & Pals Pet Lounge

Pups & Pals Pet Lounge is a dog daycare and boarding business in Austin, TX, with its South Park location at 8701 South 1st St, Bldg 3. Owners looking for dog daycare in Austin can choose between two locations, South Park and Oak Hill. Each one offers supervised play and traditional boarding.

What services does Pups & Pals offer?

The core services are day care and traditional boarding. Dogs have indoor play areas and outdoor space. The Oak Hill property covers three shaded acres, which helps on hot Texas afternoons.

• Dog daycare and traditional boarding
• Indoor play areas and outdoor space
• Play Day Evaluation for every new dog
• Report cards and photos emailed during the day
• Online booking

How are new dogs introduced?

Every new dog starts with a Play Day Evaluation. Staff introduce newcomers to other dogs in small groups or one-on-one, so a shy dog doesn't get dropped into a big crowd. The business describes this as a way to let each dog settle in and find the play group that suits them.

What sets it apart?

Safety and communication come up again and again in how Pups & Pals describes itself. The South Park facility has a full fire sprinkler suppression system. During the day, owners get report cards and photos by email, so they can see how their dog is doing without calling in. The staff is described as experienced and long-tenured, so regulars are likely to see familiar faces at drop-off.
