Rascal Training

Rascal Training is a training-focused dog boarding and daycare business at 215 Empress Lane in Woodland, WA. Dogs stay on a 4-acre ranch and spend their days mixing play with practical manners work. It's a good fit for owners who want their dog to keep learning while they're away.

What does a day at Rascal Training look like?

Days are built around structure. Dogs join structured playgroups and pack walks, then head out for off-leash adventures and field trips to dog-friendly businesses. The goal is practicing good behavior in real places, out in the world as well as in the yard.

• Board and train programs and structured boarding
• Dog daycare with structured playgroups
• Door-to-door shuttle service in select areas
• Off-leash adventures and field trips to dog-friendly businesses
• Online learning courses through Dogmanship.com

What is the property like?

The ranch has multiple fenced play yards for outdoor time. When the weather turns wet, dogs move to an indoor rubber-matted play space instead of sitting out the day. The facility is also climate controlled.

What training credentials does it hold?

Rascal Training lists professional membership in the International Association of Canine Professionals and trainer certification through the same group. It also lists graduation from the NePoPo Online Silver School. Support continues after pickup, too. The program includes a go-home session and lifetime follow-up support, so owners can keep the training going at home.

How much does it cost, and how do owners get in touch?

The kennel's website lists rates of $85 to $95 per day. To ask about availability, owners can call 503-422-3650 or email Rascaltraining@gmail.com. More details and photos are on the website and the Rascal Training Instagram and Facebook pages.
