PAWS of Greenwich Canine Club

PAWS of Greenwich Canine Club provides dog boarding in Old Greenwich, CT, along with an enrichment-based day camp and training programs at 1340 East Putnam Ave. It suits owners who want a structured, active day for their dog as much as a safe place to stay overnight.

What services does PAWS offer?

The club describes its approach as holistic. It pairs exercise and socialization with enrichment and training, rather than treating care as simple supervision. Its main services include:

• Enrichment-based doggie day camp
• Boutique suite overnight boarding, plus a pack-style boarding option
• Dog training, including the Monti-Pup puppy academy
• Indoor play areas and a large turfed outdoor yard

What sets it apart from other kennels?

Play here is organized, not a free-for-all. The facility has four separate play areas, and dogs are grouped by play-style and size. That setup can help a shy small dog avoid being overwhelmed by a rowdy large one.

Staffing is another focus. PAWS lists a high staff-to-canine ratio, 24/7 supervision and staff certified in CPR and First Aid. The building is climate-controlled, so indoor play doesn't depend on the weather.

Owners also get a real choice in boarding styles. Private suites give a dog its own quiet space, while pack-style boarding fits social dogs who like company at night.

How does the training work?

The training program follows balanced principles, blending positive reinforcement with accountability. The goal is good behavior in real-world situations, not only in a classroom. The Monti-Pup academy is built for young dogs and combines structured learning with playtime and personalized training.
