Room for Paws Pet Resort

Room for Paws Pet Resort is a dog boarding and dog daycare facility at 72 Camp Avenue in Stamford, CT, and it also handles grooming and training on site. Lodging is all-suite: each dog gets a private suite built from custom tempered glass, with a Kuranda™ bed inside.

Inside the building

The facility covers 15,000 square feet, and a good share of that build shows up in the air and water systems. The HVAC brings in fresh outside air every 10 minutes and passes it under UV sanitizing lights, while reverse-osmosis filtered water runs throughout. Indoor areas are climate controlled.

Outside there are three fenced play yards surfaced with K9Grass™, each one fitted with custom-made agility equipment, plus outdoor dog pools for warm months.

Credentials and recognition

Room for Paws is a member of the International Boarding & Pet Services Association. It was named a 2024 Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave and listed by Expertise among the best dog daycares in Stamford.

Hours and booking

The resort opens at 6:00 AM Monday through Friday and closes at 7:30 PM, which leaves room on either side of a standard workday for drop-off and pickup.
