Passage East

Passage East is a pet care center on Route 7 in Wilton, Connecticut, offering dog boarding, daycare, cat boarding, and grooming from a four-acre campus at 503 Danbury Rd. Dogs of every size are accepted, from small breeds through giant ones.

How boarding days work

Overnight guests get two supervised group play sessions a day in fully-secured outdoor turf play yards. Between sessions, dogs rest in individual private runs or indoor cabins. Dogs who find large groups stressful can join mini playgroups of two or three, or book one-on-one playtime with staff instead.

Extras worth knowing

A premium boarding option comes with daily photo updates during the stay. Staff hand out homemade frozen treats and peanut butter Kongs. The team can also give medication and feed a special diet, which matters for senior dogs and dogs on prescription food.

Practical details

The kennel opens at 7:00 AM Monday through Friday, closing at 6:00 PM on Monday and Friday and 7:00 PM Tuesday through Thursday. Saturday and Sunday hours run 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Published nightly rates range from $27 to $104. Booking is handled online through the Passage East website, and proof of current vaccination is required before a stay.
