Orange Grove Animal Hospital

Orange Grove Animal Hospital is a veterinary hospital on W. Orange Grove Rd. in Tucson, AZ, that also offers dog boarding with a vet on site. For owners comparing dog boarding in Tucson, that pairing is the main thing that sets it apart from a standalone kennel. Boarding pets have 24/7 supervision, so care doesn't stop when the front desk closes.

Why board a dog at a vet hospital?

A boarding stay here takes place inside a working animal hospital. The practice already handles same-day sick appointments, plus urgent and emergency care when a doctor is available. Lab work can be run in-house or sent out.

The hospital lists two handling credentials: Fear Free Certification Elite, and Low Stress Handling Silver held by a staff veterinarian. Both are built around keeping animals calm during handling and care. That can matter for a nervous dog spending nights away from home.
