Alta Vista Dog Daycare, Boarding & Grooming

Alta Vista Dog Daycare, Boarding & Grooming is a veterinarian-owned facility at 4730 N. 7th Ave in Phoenix that offers dog boarding, daycare and grooming. It also boards cats and exotic pets, so households with more than one kind of animal can use a single drop-off.

What does a boarding stay include?

Every boarding dog gets three walks a day and regular wellness checks. Science Diet food is provided, or owners can bring their dog's usual food. Special diets are also part of the care the kennel offers.

• Overnight dog boarding, from standard kennels to private suites
• Dog daycare with indoor play
• Grooming services
• Solo one-on-one play for dogs who don't enjoy group play
• Boarding for cats and exotic pets

What sets it apart?

The main difference is the veterinary connection. The facility is veterinarian-owned and has a vet on site, which can matter for older dogs or pets with health concerns. Dogs who need more space can stay in the Deluxe Canine Suites, which have a real bed and raised bowls.

Cats stay in multi-level Kitty Cabins and can use an enrichment room. Exotic boarding covers birds, bunnies, ferrets, guinea pigs and reptiles.
