Friends of Pima Animal Care Center

About
Friends of Pima Animal Care Center (FoPACC) is dedicated to enhancing the lives of vulnerable pets throughout Pima County. Established in 2016, this nonprofit organization operates as the philanthropic partner of the Pima Animal Care Center (PACC), which serves as the only open-admission shelter in Pima County. FoPACC aims to ensure that every pet receives the necessary resources for a healthy and loving home. With a commitment to lifesaving initiatives, the organization runs various programs designed to meet the needs of at-risk animals and their families. Additionally, the upcoming Community Pet Clinic aims to fill gaps in accessible pet care services, allowing thousands of families to access affordable veterinary care including spay/neuter services.
The facility is characterized by compassionate staff and a broad array of programs, including support for medical care through initiatives like Finn's and Lovely's funds, which focus on neglected and abused pets and offer medical care assistance. Members of the community are encouraged to engage through educational outreach, volunteering, and participation in events like the Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade, a vibrant celebration of pet companionship focused on raising awareness and support for animal welfare.
Key Features include:
- Community Pet Clinic: Affordable medical care for pets in need, eliminating financial barriers.
