Frolick Dogs

Frolick Dogs is a dog daycare and day boarding facility at 3208 Colvin St in Alexandria, VA, built around an indoor canine gym. Dogs spend their day on exercise, group play, and enrichment instead of waiting in a kennel. The business also runs classes for owners who want to train alongside their dogs.

What does a day at Frolick Dogs look like?

The day boarding program is designed to challenge dogs both physically and mentally. Staff monitor off-leash group play, and dogs go out on several walks with experienced handlers. Indoors, the gym has treadmills, balance equipment, and an agility course. When it's time to rest, dogs settle into size-appropriate stalls and crates on a sun-lit mezzanine.

What sets it apart?

Training is central to how Frolick Dogs operates. The team includes AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluators, so owners can work toward that title on site.
