A Dog's Day Out - Van Dorn

A Dog's Day Out - Van Dorn offers cage-free dog boarding and daycare at 4536 Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria, VA. It also has grooming and a self-serve dog wash. Owners can book an overnight stay, a day of play, or a bath at the same place.

What services does it offer?

The Van Dorn location covers what most owners need, plus a few extras:

• Cage-free overnight boarding
• Dog daycare with indoor and outdoor play
• Grooming and a self-serve dog wash station
• Medication given to dogs on a set schedule
• Premium dog food sold on-site

What makes this location different?

The outdoor space stands out. The facility has a large outdoor play area with doggy pools and a misting system, which helps on hot days. Dogs play in separate small, medium, and large areas, so a small terrier isn't sharing space with a much bigger dog.

The company describes its daycare as social and cage-free, with staff on hand throughout the day. That suits owners who want their dog to come home tired rather than restless.
