What services does Dean Dog & Cat Boarding offer?

The kennel covers what most local owners need in one place. Dogs can stay overnight, spend the day, or get groomed, and cats can board too.

• Overnight boarding for dogs and cats
• Dog daycare in supervised play yards
• Dog grooming
• Turf play yards with sunshades and cooling misters

What are the play yards like?

The outdoor space gets most of the attention on the kennel's website. The yards use turf with French drains, which helps keep standing water and mud down. Sunshades and cooling misters help on hot afternoons, and auto-fill buckets keep fresh water available.

The fencing has climb-prevention rollers, a useful detail for dogs that like to test boundaries. A dedicated play yard attendant supervises the dogs the whole time they're out, so owners of social or high-energy dogs know someone is watching the group.

How do they keep things clean?

Dean Dog & Cat Boarding uses the Wysiwash sanitation system, a daily enzyme-based cleaner. The kennel describes it as safe for pet areas, which matters in spaces where dogs spend hours playing and resting.

What should owners know before booking?

Overnight boarding runs $28 to $35 per night. Vaccinations are required, so it's smart to have records ready before the first stay. The kennel can be reached at 573-253-8439 or DeanDogAndCatBoarding@gmail.com to check availability and confirm current policies.
