Countryside Pet Retreat

Countryside Pet Retreat is a dog and cat boarding kennel on a 40-acre country farm in Fulton, Missouri. For owners comparing dog boarding in Fulton, it offers traditional overnight stays in a quiet, rural setting. The kennel describes its approach in plain terms: safety, comfort, affordability and plenty of personal attention.

What does a dog's stay look like?

Dogs head outside at least four times a day for exercise. The kennel has two sizes of dog runs, and each guest sleeps on a PetCot. Owners who want to keep routines familiar are welcome to bring their dog's own food and bedding from home.

• At least four outdoor exercise breaks every day
• Free bonus bath for stays of six nights or longer
• Medication given during the stay
• Special diets accommodated
• Grooming services

How does it keep boarders healthy?

Every pet gets a health exam before it enters the kennel, and current vaccinations are required. That screening is meant to protect the whole group of boarders. Cats stay in their own room with kitty condos, separate from the dogs.
