Dog Daze Playcare

Dog Daze Playcare is a cage-free dog boarding and daycare facility at 815 Blue Ridge Rd. in Columbia, MO, that also offers grooming and training. Its focus is supervised group play rather than long hours alone in a kennel run. The business describes its approach as safe and pet-centered, with dogs spending their days playing with other dogs and the staff.

What does a boarding stay look like?

Boarding dogs get supervised play during the day and sleep in their own bed at night. Owners can choose private or group play, depending on how comfortable their dog is around other dogs. Play happens indoors and outdoors, including on a large turf exercise area, and the facility is climate-controlled.

What services are offered?

• Overnight cage-free boarding
• Dog daycare with supervised group play and socialization
• Dog training
• Grooming
• Medication administration during stays

Are there extras for boarding dogs?

Owners who miss their dog while away can sign up for PupConnect, which sends photos and a message about the dog's day. Personal play and snuggle sessions give a dog some one-on-one attention. The facility also hosts birthday parties for dogs.
