Chesapeake Pet Resort & Day Spa

Chesapeake Pet Resort & Day Spa offers dog boarding and daycare at 26120 Jones Wharf Rd in Hollywood, MD, and serves families across St. Mary's County. It also offers grooming, dog training, and a cattery for cats and other pets. A household with more than one kind of animal can use the same place for all of them.

What are the boarding options?

Dogs stay in Deluxe Cabins or in indoor/outdoor suites. Each patio run has a private indoor space attached to a fenced outdoor run about 10 to 12 feet long. Dogs can step outside on their own instead of waiting for a turn. Siblings from the same household can lodge together, which helps dogs who settle better with a familiar companion.

How do dogs spend the day?

Staff run four to five supervised play yard sessions every day. Owners who only need daytime care can book doggie daycare instead of an overnight stay. Grooming and training are on the same property, so a dog can get a bath or work on manners during a visit.

Who watches the dogs overnight?

The owners live on site, and pet care staff are on hand around the clock. The property also has a professionally monitored security system and video surveillance. Staff can give medication to dogs that need it during their stay.
