The Pet Lodge Maryland

The Pet Lodge Maryland offers dog boarding and daycare at 43450 Saint Andrews Church Rd in Leonardtown, MD. It also boards cats and exotic pets, offers grooming, and can handle special diets. Boarding runs $48 to $56 per night, and reservations are made by phone.

What does a boarding stay include?

Each dog stays in a private suite with comfortable bedding and raised beds. Every boarding stay includes four potty breaks, and staff run supervised playtime in groups or one-on-one. Owners who are away can follow the daily photo updates the lodge posts to social media. The lodge describes its goal as home-away-from-home care, delivered in a professional, safe, and caring way.

What sets it apart?

• Private boarding suites with raised beds
• Supervised group and individual playtime
• Outdoor space for exercise
• Homemade treats and special meals, including sensitive-belly options
• Grooming and daycare at the same location

The food stands out. Dogs with touchy stomachs can get sensitive-belly meals and treats, and homemade options are on the menu. Stays of 14 days or longer come with a complimentary bath. Active-duty and retired military personnel can get a discount on boarding.

Does it take pets other than dogs?

Yes. The lodge boards cats as well as exotic pets such as rabbits, birds, and bearded dragons. That can make things simpler for households with more than one kind of animal.
