Arbor Dog Daycare & Boarding

Arbor Dog Daycare & Boarding is a cage-free dog boarding and daycare facility at 2418 S. Industrial Hwy. in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dogs of every breed are welcome, in sizes from small to giant. The building is staffed 24 hours a day, so dogs are never left alone overnight.

How does cage-free boarding work here?

The dogs sleep together in shared boarding rooms instead of individual kennel runs. Each overnight room has gel-infused memory foam mattresses and plush beds. A staff member sleeps in each boarding room all night, which makes a stay feel more like a sleepover than time in a kennel. Boarding costs $60 per night, according to the facility's website.

What does a daycare day look like?

Daytime play happens in three large playrooms, with dogs grouped by temperament. Every playroom opens onto its own outdoor turf play yard, so dogs can move between indoor play and fresh air. Owners can check in on their dog through webcam access while they're at work.

What should owners know before booking?

Every dog has to complete a 3-hour temperament test before joining daycare or boarding. That screening is how the staff decide which playgroup each dog fits into. Vaccinations are also required, so it helps to have current records ready.

Booking is handled online, and clients get access to the MyKcapp online client portal. Owners who prefer to talk to someone can call (734) 677-2332 or email arbordogcare@yahoo.com. Public hours run from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays and from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
