Fast Fido

Fast Fido is a cage-free daycare and in-home boarding service for dogs in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Instead of keeping dogs indoors all day, it picks them up from home and drives them to a private farm for outdoor play with a small pack. For owners comparing dog daycare in Ann Arbor, that farm trip is the main thing that sets it apart.

What happens on a farm day?

The play area is a private, fully fenced acre on a farm. It is partially wooded, with grass, trees, and a shelter for shade or bad weather. An on-site pump supplies unlimited fresh water, so dogs can drink whenever they need to between runs. The setting suits high-energy dogs, and also dogs who mostly just like being outside.

Why does pack size matter?

Fast Fido keeps its pack sizes small. The business describes its goal as a calm, structured environment rather than a crowded, noisy one. That approach may suit dogs who find busy daycare floors overwhelming.

What about overnight stays?

Boarding happens in a home setting, not a kennel building. Boarded dogs still go on daily farm trips during the week, so a longer stay keeps the same routine of outdoor play.
