PurrVella

PurrVella is a cat-only boarding facility at 4033 Carpenter Rd. in Ypsilanti, Michigan, offering private suites and grooming for cats. Owners looking for dog boarding in Ypsilanti should know that PurrVella only takes cats, so it is not an option for dogs. For cat owners, it offers a quiet, low-stress place for a cat to stay while they're away.

What does a stay at PurrVella include?

Each cat stays in a private suite. Staff provide fresh food and water, clean the litter daily, and make one daily care visit. That visit can be play, enrichment, or gentle interaction, depending on what suits the cat.

• Private suites in Standard (6×6) and Deluxe (10×6) sizes
• Expandable option that joins two adjacent suites
• Indoor play and enrichment
• Medication administration
• Grooming services

How is it different from a mixed kennel?

There are no dogs barking down the hall, because the facility only takes cats. PurrVella describes its approach as calm and predictable, with handling done at each cat's own pace. For nervous cats, a calming room diffuser and calm comfort visits are available. Cats that like to roam can stay in the expandable suite, which joins two neighboring suites into one larger space.

Can owners check in during the stay?

Yes. Owners can get Cat Cam access during the stay, and optional photo or text updates can be added. That helps with a first boarding stay, or for owners who just like to see how their cat is settling in.
