Pup City

Pup City is a dog daycare and boarding facility at 4177 Carpenter Road in Ypsilanti, Michigan, offering cage-free daycare and overnight stays. For owners comparing dog boarding in Ypsilanti, the biggest draw is space: over 11,000 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor play area.

What services does Pup City offer?

The facility handles both day visits and overnight boarding. It accepts dogs of every size, from small breeds up to giants. Staff can also give medication during a stay.

• Cage-free doggy daycare with indoor and outdoor play
• Overnight boarding in a traditional kennel setup
• Temperament testing and evaluations
• Medication administration
• Webcam access for owners

What makes it different from other kennels?

The play areas were clearly designed with both dogs and noise in mind. Indoor yards have epoxy flake flooring, and sound-absorbing PVC baffles help keep the volume down. Multi-story play structures give dogs something to climb besides each other. The whole building is climate controlled.

Pup City sums up its approach simply: treat dogs and people the way you would want to be treated. Owners who like to check in during the day can watch on the webcams. Boarders can also get a raised dog bed at no extra cost.

What should owners know before booking?

Pup City runs temperament testing and evaluations, which help staff judge how a dog will do in group play. Vaccinations are required. Reservations, forms, and records are handled online through a client portal built on Gingr software.

Hours are 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday and 9 AM to 6 PM on Saturday and Sunday. To ask questions before booking, call 734-221-5526 or email info@pupcitydaycare.com.
