Annie's Ruff House

Annie's Ruff House is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 1043 N. University Blvd. in Norman, Oklahoma, that also offers grooming and training. It sits on a two-acre property with an outdoor dog park, so dogs spend a good part of the day outside instead of waiting in a kennel.

What does a day look like for dogs here?

The approach here is built on structure. Staff supervise group play and lead pack walks, and dogs move between the outdoor dog park and an indoor play area. Because the building is climate controlled, play can keep going indoors when Oklahoma weather turns hot, cold or wet. Owners who want to check in during the day have webcam access.

What services and amenities are offered?

• Overnight boarding and daycare
• Grooming and training on site
• Medication administration and special diets
• Shuttle pick-up and drop-off
• Webcam access for owners

What are the kennels like?

Boarding dogs sleep in roomy kennels with raised beds and solid-sided walls. The kennel describes the setup as a way to keep overnight rest calm and quiet. Dogs that eat wet or homemade food are covered too, since there is an on-site refrigerator to store it.

How do new dogs get started?

New dogs start with a free full-day demeanor test. The day lets staff see how a dog handles the kennels, the play groups and being handled. It also gives the dog a chance to get familiar with the place before a real stay. Vaccinations are required, and reservations are made online.

What does it cost and when is it open?

Boarding costs $36 to $40 per night. Annie's Ruff House is open 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday and 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday. The front desk can be reached at (405) 310-3084 or frontdeskannies@gmail.com.
