West Tennessee K9

West Tennessee K9 is a training-focused facility at 564 Trinity Creek Cove in Cordova, TN, offering dog boarding, daycare, grooming, and obedience training under one roof. Training is the heart of the business, and its boarding follows the same structured approach rather than treating a stay as simple kennel time.

What services does West Tennessee K9 offer?

The facility covers most of what a dog owner in the Cordova area might need, from overnight stays to ongoing behavior work. Boarding is listed on its website at $65 per night.

• Overnight boarding with climate control and 24/7 supervision
• Structured dog daycare
• Puppy training, obedience training, and behavior modification
• Therapy dog training and therapy dog opportunities
• Grooming

How are dogs housed and cared for?

Dogs stay in extra-large commercial kennels from Ruffland and Dakota or in free-standing runs. The building is climate controlled, and staff supervise around the clock. The kennel also keeps a low dog-to-staff ratio, which means more attention per dog during the day.

Owners aren't left guessing while they're away. Each dog gets a daily report card with photos and videos.

What makes it different from a standard kennel?

The tone of the place is structure and calm. The site describes a daily routine built around obedience work, structured exercise, and quiet kennel time, so a dog's manners hold up during the stay. West Tennessee K9 is a member of the International Association of K9 Professionals and lists the AKC Puppy Star Program and Canine Good Citizen among its credentials.

For owners who sign up for training, the work doesn't stop at pickup. The kennel holds turnover sessions to show owners what their dog learned, and it offers unlimited follow-up afterward.

How do you contact or book?

The easiest way to ask about availability is to call (901) 283-2323 or email westtnk9@gmail.com. More details about its programs are on its website at wtnk9.com. The kennel also posts on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, which gives owners a look at its training style before they book.
