Waggles Stay 'n Play

Waggles Stay 'n Play is a traditional dog boarding kennel at 779 N Houston Levee Rd. in Cordova, TN, offering both short-term stays and extended boarding. Every guest gets an individual run, walks several times a day, and time in a fenced outdoor play area.

What does boarding at Waggles include?

The kennel keeps its focus on the basics of daily care. Its website has a warm, personal tone, describing a family of dog lovers who want to take the "boring" out of boarding. Here is what each stay includes:

• Short-term and extended-stay boarding
• Runs in multiple sizes to fit different dogs
• An individual run for each guest
• Walks several times a day
• A fenced outdoor play area in a climate-controlled facility

What makes Waggles different?

A portion of the proceeds from Waggles goes to Stray Network, a dog rescue. So owners who board here are also helping fund rescue work. The site describes treating each dog like a member of the family, and the rescue connection fits that message.

What services are coming soon?

Waggles lists doggy day care and obedience training as coming soon. Neither one is offered yet. Owners who want daytime play or training should call and ask about timing before making plans.

How do owners book a stay?

Booking is done by phone at (901) 672-2887. Owners can also email sandra@wagglestn.com with questions, and the kennel has a Facebook page. Calling ahead is the simplest way to check availability, especially for a longer trip.
