Travelers Rest Pet Sitting

Travelers Rest Pet Sitting is a home-based pet care service in Travelers Rest, SC, offering dog boarding in a trusted sitter's home, doggy daycare, dog walks and in-home pet sitting. For owners comparing options for dog boarding in Travelers Rest, the main difference is simple: dogs stay in a real house, never a kennel.

What services does Travelers Rest Pet Sitting offer?

The business covers most of the ways an owner might need help while away, from a quick midday visit to a full trip out of town. Services include:

• Cage-free dog boarding in a local sitter's home
• Doggy daycare for dogs who need company and play during the day
• In-home pet sitting with overnight stays at the owner's house
• Dog walks and 30-minute drop-in visits
• A 24-hour in-home care option

How is this different from a boarding kennel?

There is no kennel building here. Dogs board in the home of a local sitter, so the setting feels like a household instead of a facility. The team describes its approach as keeping each pet on its normal routine with personal attention.

Sitters are background-checked and trained. Owners get photo and text updates while they're away, which helps for longer trips. Overnight boarding also includes a complimentary mid-day drop-in.

Can my dog stay at home instead?

Yes. Owners whose dogs settle better in familiar surroundings can book in-home pet sitting with an overnight stay. A sitter comes to the house, so the dog keeps its own bed, yard and schedule. Shorter needs are covered by dog walks and 30-minute drop-in visits.

What should owners know before booking?

Vaccinations are required for dogs in care, so it's worth having records ready before the first stay. Bookings are made online through the Travelers Rest Pet Sitting website. A free meet-and-greet gives owners and dogs a chance to meet the sitter before committing.
