A Dog's Day Out Inc

A Dog's Day Out Inc is a dog boarding and daycare facility in Wade Hampton, SC, that also offers grooming. It takes both short-term and long-term stays, so it can cover a quick weekend away or a much longer trip.

What is a typical day like?

The kennel describes itself as a very social place. Dogs spend their days with the staff and with each other rather than alone in a run. Playful younger dogs are encouraged to stay active, while calmer dogs are free to lie back and get some attention. Play happens in a climate-controlled indoor area and in three connected outdoor areas stocked with toys, with baby pools set out in the summer.

What services are offered?

• Short-term and long-term dog boarding, including private suites
• Dog daycare with indoor and outdoor play
• Grooming by OSTER-certified groomers
• Medication administration and special diets
• Discounts for multi-dog families

Who looks after the dogs?

Staff members are CPR and First Aid certified, which matters if a dog gets hurt or sick during a stay. The groomers hold OSTER certification. On its website, the team describes itself as serious about the work and always learning the trade.

What does boarding cost?

Boarding rates published on the kennel's website run from $41 to $47 per day, depending on the option chosen. Families boarding more than one dog can ask about the multi-dog discount when they call.
