Tiki's Playhouse

Tiki's Playhouse offers cage-free dog boarding in Glenelg, MD, along with daycare, at its facility at 3830 Ten Oaks Road. Dogs of every size are welcome, from small breeds up to giant ones. The kennel describes its approach as personal and low-stress, and play and socializing are at the center of the day.

What services does Tiki's Playhouse offer?

The main services are overnight boarding and doggie daycare, both built around group play instead of individual kennel runs. A few extras fill out the menu:

• Spacious indoor and outdoor off-leash playgrounds
• 24/7 supervision
• Grooming services
• Medication administration and special diets, including feeding prepared meals or supplements
• Pet Concierge transportation, with pickup and drop-off

What makes it different from a typical kennel?

The community side stands out. Tiki's runs a K-9 & Coffee / Bourbon Bar where owners and their dogs can socialize together. It also offers weekend playground access on Saturdays, which suits owners who want their dog to burn off energy without a full daycare day.

New dogs go through temperament testing. That's a sensible step for a cage-free setup, where dogs spend much of their time playing in groups.

What should owners know before booking?

Overnight boarding costs $85 to $100 per night, according to the kennel's website. Monday through Thursday, the doors are open from 7:00 AM to 6:45 PM. Friday hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On Saturday the facility is open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and Sunday has a short window from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Owners should plan drop-offs and pickups around those times.

Reservations are made online through the Tiki's Playhouse website. For questions before booking, call 410-489-7889 or email info@tikisplayhouse.com.
