The Fetchington Pet Hotel

The Fetchington Pet Hotel is a small, cage-free pet hotel offering dog boarding in West Chester, Ohio, along with daycare and indoor play. It runs on a boutique model, with just 15 suites for overnight guests.

What makes The Fetchington different from a typical kennel?

The hotel operates out of a converted 1900s house rather than a standard kennel building. Its owners describe the approach as quality over quantity. They keep capacity limited on purpose so each dog gets more individual attention.

Overnight guests stay in custom-designed indoor suites with tiled walls and orthopedic beds. Dogs in its care are never left outside unattended. That's worth noting if your dog is an escape artist or doesn't handle the weather well.

What services and amenities does it offer?

• Overnight boarding in 15 private suites
• Cage-free setup
• Dog daycare
• Indoor play space
• No unattended outdoor time

Who is it a good fit for?

The Fetchington suits owners who want a quieter, smaller setting than a large boarding facility. The hotel's own description centers on letting dogs socialize with other friendly dogs in a controlled environment. Social dogs may enjoy the daycare side, while older or anxious dogs may appreciate the smaller scale. With only 15 suites, it makes sense to call ahead before a trip.
