The Curious K9

The Curious K9 is a dog training center in Springfield, Oregon, that also offers dog daycare and overnight dog boarding. It sits at 1619 West Quinalt Street and serves dog owners across Springfield and nearby Eugene. Training is the heart of the business, so a stay here comes with a real focus on manners and behavior.

What services does The Curious K9 offer?

The facility covers three areas: training, daycare, and boarding. Training includes puppy programs, obedience work, and behavioral training for dogs with problem habits.

• Overnight dog boarding
• Doggy daycare
• Puppy and obedience training
• Behavioral training
• Free evaluation for new dogs

How is it different from a standard kennel?

Most boarding kennels focus on basic care while owners are away. The Curious K9 builds its approach around training, and its website talks about helping dogs and their owners build strong, positive relationships. That focus continues after the stay ends. The team follows up with owners on what to keep working on at home, so a dog's progress doesn't fade once it leaves.

New clients can start with a free evaluation. It gives owners a low-pressure way to see whether the program suits their dog before they commit to anything.
