Southern Paws

Southern Paws is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 110 Jackson Drive in Piedmont, SC, with overnight lodging, day camp, and grooming in one building. It accepts dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to giant ones.

What does an overnight stay include?

Lodging guests sleep in private suites, and the kennel provides comfy bedding for every dog. Each day includes two potty breaks and four 30-minute play sessions. Dogs from the same family can share a suite, which helps siblings who settle better together. The kennel's website lists overnight boarding at $75 per night.

How is group play handled?

Play sessions are supervised and kept small, with no more than five dogs per attendant. The day camp attendants are trained and certified. The kennel describes its approach as pack-style play that keeps dogs active and engaged. Calmer dogs can simply spend time outside in the yard and soak up some attention.

How does the facility keep dogs safe?
