Home Fur A While

Home Fur A While is a cage-free dog boarding and dog daycare facility at 2956 New Easley Hwy in Greenville, SC. Dogs stay in an open, climate-controlled setting with 24-hour supervision, and overnight guests get interactive play all day as part of their stay.

What is boarding like here?

Boarding is open and cage-free, so dogs share space instead of spending the night alone in a run. Crates are available for dogs that would rather have a private spot to rest. The kennel describes the overnight setup as a supervised slumber party, with play during the day and sleep at night. Boarding costs $60 per night.

What amenities do dogs get?

• Climate-controlled indoor play space
• Outdoor play space with dog wading pools
• Shaded outdoor pavilion and front porch
• Interactive all-day play included with boarding
• Medication given by staff for dogs that need it

Who looks after the dogs?

Supervision runs 24 hours a day, and the caregivers are First Aid & CPR certified by Pet Tech. If a dog takes medication, owners can arrange for staff to give it during the stay.

How do owners get started?

Every new dog starts with a meet-and-greet and a tour of the facility before enrolling. Owners get to see the space, and staff get to meet the dog. Reservations are made by phone at (864) 616-2104, and all dogs must be current on their vaccinations.

When is it open?

Home Fur A While is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Those weekday hours suit owners who drop off for daycare before work and pick up afterward.
