SkyBlue Dog Kennels

SkyBlue Dog Kennels offers overnight dog boarding and doggy daycare at 7509 FM 969 (East MLK Blvd.) in Austin, TX, and it boards dogs 365 days a year. Its specialty is a kind of dog that can be hard to place for a trip: the one who doesn't do well around other dogs.

Who is SkyBlue a good fit for?

SkyBlue specializes in non-social dogs and accepts all breeds and sizes, from small dogs up to giant breeds. Each dog stays in a large indoor/outdoor run and gets solo playtime in the kennel's spacious play yards. That setup suits a dog who needs extra space, a slower pace, or time away from a crowd.

What services are available?

Boarding is the main service, and daycare and a few extras are offered on the same property.

• Overnight boarding, with published rates of $50 to $55 per night
• Doggy daycare with indoor play and outdoor space
• Grooming
• Medication administration and special diets
• Enrichment add-ons, including private play, nature walks and nightly tuck-ins

Is anyone on the property overnight?

Yes. A resident lives on site, so someone is on the property through the night. Owners leaving a nervous dog for the first time may find that worth knowing.
