Shear Elegance Pet Services

Shear Elegance Pet Services is a small dog daycare in Franklin, MA, at 485 King St, that also offers grooming and behavior training. It suits owners who want a quiet, hands-on setting rather than a large play facility.

What services does Shear Elegance offer?

The business covers several needs under one roof:

• Doggy day care with indoor play
• Dog grooming
• Behavior training for nuisance and aggressive behaviors
• Optional owner participation at crated drop-off and pick-up

What makes this shop different?

The shop is a single open room. Dogs being groomed or resting in a crate stay within comfortable sight of the activity, which the business describes as a way to help them feel connected and calm. The setup is small on purpose, so it may suit dogs who get overwhelmed in busy, noisy spaces.

The whole day follows what the business calls its own behavioral method, used from drop-off to pick-up. The focus is on building trust between dog and owner. Owners can choose to take part in the crated drop-off and pick-up, which is meant to keep the routine steady and familiar for the dog.

What credentials does the business list?

The listed credentials include a Veterinary Assistant Certificate from Holliston Junior College. They also include a dog grooming certification from Pedigree Professional School.

Can it help with problem behaviors?

Owners dealing with difficult habits can ask about the behavior services. These cover everyday nuisance behaviors as well as more serious aggression. The approach centers on communication and trust between the dog and its people, so owners should expect to be involved.
