Rob Cary Pet Resort

Rob Cary Pet Resort is a pet resort at 14824 Bulverde Road that offers dog boarding, doggy daycare, grooming, and training in San Antonio, TX. It also boards cats and birds, which helps households with more than one kind of pet.

What is a boarding stay like?

Dogs stay in indoor suites with raised Kuranda beds, and each suite opens onto a private shaded patio. The building is climate-controlled, and music plays in the interior suites. Staff supervise the facility 24/7.

Owners can build a stay around their dog. Package options include group play, nature walks, snuggle time with staff, and seasonal splash time. A social dog can spend the day playing, and a quieter one can stick to walks and one-on-one attention.

Services and amenities

• Overnight boarding in private suites for small, medium, and large dogs
• Supervised daycare in indoor and outdoor play areas
• On-site grooming
• Dog training, including obedience and agility
• Medication administration and special diets

What makes it different?

Rob Cary handles boarding, training, and grooming in one place. A dog can take obedience or agility classes, get groomed, and board without changing facilities. The resort's own description stresses a clean, safe setting and close attention to each pet's needs. It also describes its staff as animal lovers who treat boarders the way they'd treat their own pets.

Cats get their own luxury suites, and birds stay in what the resort calls Tweet Suites.
