Lucy's Doggy Daycare and Spa

Lucy's Doggy Daycare and Spa offers dog boarding, daycare, and grooming in San Antonio, TX, and has more than one location in the city. Owners book online and can watch their dogs on live webcams while they're away.

What services does Lucy's offer?

The business offers overnight boarding, doggy daycare, and grooming. Dogs get up to 7 hours of play, split between indoor and outdoor play parks. Owners who would rather bathe their own dog can use a self-service dog wash, though it's worth asking which location has one.

• Traditional boarding and daycare
• Supervised playgroups matched by size and temperament
• Indoor and outdoor play parks with walk-in pools
• Grooming plus a self-service dog wash
• Live webcam access

How is playtime handled?

Staff supervise the playgroups and sort dogs by size and temperament instead of putting every dog in one group. That matters if your dog is small or a little shy around bigger dogs. The play areas have toys, playground equipment, and misters, which help on hot San Antonio afternoons. Dogs that love water can cool off in the walk-in pools.

What stands out at the Thousand Oaks location?

Thousand Oaks has a newly remodeled, shaded dog park that covers half an acre. In a city where summer heat cuts outdoor time short, that shade and space are a real draw for dogs that need room to run.

Practical details before you book

Lucy's requires vaccinations, so have your dog's records ready before the first visit. All booking is done online. If you have more than one dog, ask about the family and multi-pup discounts. The business also has Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube pages, which can give you a feel for the place before you drop off your dog.
