Ranchwood Veterinary Hospital

Ranchwood Veterinary Hospital offers medically supervised dog boarding and dog daycare at its full-service animal hospital at 10505 S Santa Fe Ave in Oklahoma City. Because a vet is on site, boarding here is a good fit for senior dogs and pets with chronic conditions.

What is boarding at a vet hospital like?

Overnight dogs stay in a climate-controlled kennel area. A separate low-noise section is set aside for anxious pets. Every dog gets daily walks and playtime in a large outdoor exercise area, plus individual attention indoors each day. Bedding, toys, and enrichment items are provided, so owners don't need to pack extras.

Staff do a wellness check on overnight guests every morning. Daytime staff also work on weekends to care for boarded pets.

Services and amenities

• Overnight boarding and dog daycare
• Medication administration and special diets
• Indoor play space and a large outdoor exercise area
• Grooming services
• A free bath for stays of 7 or more nights, with optional nail trim, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression

Which dogs is it best for?

The medical setting is the main reason to choose it. A dog that needs daily medication, a special diet, or closer monitoring stays in a building where veterinary care is already available. Nervous dogs may settle better in the quieter kennel area. Ranchwood also boards cats, which helps households that have both.
