What services does Paws@Play offer?

The facility covers most of what a busy dog owner needs, from a single day of play to a stay of several nights. Its own website describes the goal as a safe, homelike place where dogs can play and relax.

• Overnight boarding in private suites, with Kuranda cots and stainless steel bowls provided
• Doggy daycare with indoor play space
• Grooming
• Medication administration and special diets
• A free demeanor trial day evaluation for new dogs

What sets it apart from other kennels?

Staff at Paws@Play are certified in Pet CPR and First Aid through the PetProject course by Heartland CPR. The building is secured with burglar and fire alarms, along with surveillance cameras. Owners who want updates during a stay can follow the daily photos and videos the kennel posts on its Facebook and Instagram pages.

The free demeanor trial day lets staff learn a dog's personality before it joins the group. It's a sensible first step for a dog that hasn't been boarded before. Veterans receive a 10% discount.

What should owners know before booking?

Boarding costs $35 per night, according to the kennel's website. Weekday hours run from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Reservations are made online, and dogs must have current vaccinations to stay. For questions, call 405-237-3169 or email pmobbs@pawsatplayok.com.
