Paw Paw's

Paw Paw's is a dog boarding and daycare facility at 3124 Broad Avenue in Memphis, TN, that also offers grooming and obedience training. Owners looking for dog boarding in Memphis can choose from three styles of overnight stay, priced from $50 to $70 per night according to the kennel's website.

What boarding options does Paw Paw's offer?

The facility lists three types of overnight space. The right choice depends on your dog's size, energy level, and how much room they like to stretch out in.

• Luxury suites of 32 square feet, roomy enough for two large-breed dogs
• Dog runs measuring 5 by 20 feet, with a cot provided
• Standard kennel or crate boarding
• Indoor play areas and daycare
• Grooming and obedience training on site

What sets this kennel apart?

Training is central to how Paw Paw's operates. The kennel holds AKC Evaluator and Certified Obedience Trainer credentials, so its approach leans toward structure as well as play. Its website describes a focus on individual attention for each dog, with play sessions meant to send pups home tired and well socialized.

Every new dog goes through a temperament evaluation before joining in. This step helps the team see how a dog gets along with people and other dogs. For owners of anxious or high-energy dogs, that screening may be reassuring.

Practical details for Memphis owners

Paw Paw's is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Booking is handled by phone at 901-286-5488, and the kennel can also be reached by email at becky@pawpawspets.com. Current vaccinations are required, so have your dog's records ready before you call.

If you're planning a trip, call early. The temperament evaluation has to happen before a first stay, so new clients should leave time for it.
