East Memphis Pet Hospital & Resort

East Memphis Pet Hospital & Resort is a veterinary hospital at 4626 Poplar Avenue #102 that also offers dog boarding in Memphis, along with daycare and grooming. Owners who want their dog's stay and medical care handled under one roof can find both at this address.

What services does it offer?

The business pairs a full animal hospital with a pet resort. Its main services for dog owners include:

• Luxury pet boarding
• Dog daycare
• Pet grooming
• On-site veterinary care
• Preventive and senior pet care

How is it different from a standard kennel?

The biggest difference is the vet on site. The hospital side handles dental care with digital dental X-rays, diagnostic imaging including X-rays and ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, soft tissue surgery, and spay and neuter procedures. For an owner boarding an older dog or one with ongoing health needs, having that care in the same building is a practical advantage.

The staff describe their goal as a clinical atmosphere built on excellence, integrity, warmth, and professionalism. Their website returns often to the idea that pets are family. The overall tone is personal and friendly, closer to a neighborhood clinic than a large chain.

When is it open and how do you book?

The resort is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday hours run from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and it is closed on Sunday. Reservations are made by phone at 901.317.4414, so owners should call ahead to check availability before a trip.

The business also keeps Facebook and Instagram pages. Those can give owners a look at the facility and the staff before they pick up the phone.
